WHAT IS A CATALOGUE FOLDER?
A Catalogue Folder is a ‘Party’ in a folder. It has all the elements
of a Party without the work! Recruiting bids, Party Booking bids
and of course the Ann Summers product range. Catalogue Folders are
a great way to boost your monthly sales, payments and wages, and
even work while you are away on holiday.
WHY DO WE NEED CATALOGUE FOLDERS?
You need a Catalogue Folder (or 3!) for those people who have excuses
or reasons for not holding a Party – their house is too small, they
still live with their parents, their husband/partner never goes
out, the kids won’t go to bed etc. You can also use a Catalogue
Folder for your partner, friends or relatives to take to work to
help get you those extra orders, Party Bookings & Recruits.
Or visit local shops, businesses and call centres and leave one
with the Receptionist – offer her the Hostess 10% commission &
gift if she achieves your ‘target’.
HOW DO YOU USE A CATALOGUE FOLDER?
You have one person in charge of the Folder, in effect the Hostess.
Arrange which day you will collect the orders and payments. Don’t
leave your Catalogue Folder with the Hostess too long as she may
forget about it! Also arrange a day you will deliver the goods.
The Hostess then shows the catalogue folder to F.R.A.N. (Friends,
Relations, Acquaintances and Neighbours – as many people as she
can) letting them take away the spare Catalogues and encouraging
them to order. Give her a call at least once during her Catalogue
Party to see how she’s getting on and offer advice if needed. Once
you have collected the orders, proceed as you would with a normal
Party.
HOW DO YOU MAKE A CATALOGUE FOLDER?
Buy a sturdy, durable folder – a pocket in the front or back is
a good idea for spare Catalogues. Use plastic wallets to make your
Folder last longer. Download the Catalogue Folder from the Ann Summers
Organisers web site and add your name and telephone number. Print
the pages and separate a catalogue into single sheets and place
one sheet in each holder. You can change the order of the pages
if you wish. Cut out the Stars and Rabbits and stick them on the
relevant pages where you want to highlight a special offer. You
can also alter the special offers or add your own. Special offers
entice the customer to spend more, just make sure you calculate
the cost of offers correctly so you don’t lose out!
DO I NEED TO PUT ANYTHING ELSE IN MY FOLDER?
Make sure you have enclosed the instructions on how to complete
the Order Forms, payment details, the delivery day, how to Book
a Party and how to join the Company. Also make sure you enclose
lots of business cards, canvassing and opportunity leaflets and
Catalogues to take away, and don’t forget a Hostess bingo card and
Hostess and Customer order envelopes.
WHAT MAKES A GOOD CATALOGUE FOLDER?
If your folder looks tidy and presentable, is easy to use and has
lots of special offers it will work for you, but only if you use
it!
RECRUITMENT FOLDERS
Print off the document and simply put into a folder inside plastic
inserts. Take one to every Party for the Hostess and Guests to read
throughout the evening.
